Schools save with Open Source

December 23rd, 2005

An article at Spidertools.com outlines the savings that can be made with Open Source software. Interestingly, for a school district with 185 PC/workstations, the saving is over $92,000 for setup alone! The ten-year saving after that is over $338,000. Surely that makes OS software worth thinking about?
